Here's what's old on Streetplay
Dear Streetplay Readers,

For the past few months, we have been working with several
organizations to help our communities respond to 9/11. This
e-mail is being sent to let you know about a special event
happening this week.

-----------------------------------------------

Imagine New York invites you to share your ideas for
memorializing the World Trade Center tragedy, rebuilding
downtown, and revitalizing your own neighborhood at a public
workshop near you. Workshops are being held next weekend -- on
April 13 & 14 and on the preceding weeknights -- in museums,
schools, libraries, religious and community centers throughout
the greater New York area.

The workshops are free---but your ideas are priceless. Those
who have participated in workshops so far have been moved by the
experience, describing a sense of camaraderie and unity with
other New Yorkers that they haven't felt since the days
following September 11. It's an opportunity to come together
with 10 to 15 other people who care about the future of this
city and region, and to work individually and as a group on ways
that we can move forward from the events of September 11.

To find a workshop near you, please see the list below or visit
the project's website, www.imaginenewyork.org. For many of the
workshops, you can even RSVP online. You can also submit ideas
on-line as well.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please help spread the word about this important project by
sending this email to your friends, family, neighbors and
colleagues.
