Here's what's old on Streetplay
Fellow Streetplay readers,

It's been a long, hard winter that didn't want to leave--March
came in like a lion but forgot to change into a lamb! But with
the baseball season starting and daylight savings time back in
effect, it's time to go out and play in the street again. When
we weren't having snowball fights, the Streetplay Staff was
preparing for just this moment.

Streetplay and the Smithsonian
------------------------------
Just 'cause we play in the street doesn't mean we ain't got no
culture. The renowned Smithsonian Institute has called upon
Streetplay.com to join them in Washington DC in their annual
Folklife Festival. We'll be on the National Mall in June/July
showing people from across the nation the games of the NYC
streets. You should come!

Streetplay Photos: now worth 1001 words each!
---------------------------------------------
Perhaps the site's most popular feature is our collection of
photos. That's why we've overhauled our photo sections,
improved navigation, added some great shots and included more
information about each picture. Don't miss the new showcase of
"Your stuff," pictures submitted to us by Streetplay readers:

Streetplay Stories: 50 of 'em and counting
------------------------------------------
We've always had a lot of stories on Streetplay, but finding
them all hasn't been easy. We've organized over 50 stories into
into these sections: the Member Spotlight, Hanging Out, Special
Topics, and Celebrities. We've added new stories and made
moving among all the sections much easier.

The Streetplay Galleries: New art, new look
-------------------------------------------
Our ever-growing collection of work by professional
photographers and artists is graced by our most recent addition
of At The Playground by Karen Bell. You'll also find that the
Galleries have a refreshed, easier-to-use look and more
information about the artists. Your ticket to the show is this

We hope you enjoy the improvements we've made to the site.
Please let us know what you think, and keep making Streetplay
your first stop for good clean urban fun!
