Tracy Davis and Cesar Sala Streetplay's Rising Stars section is presented by Tracy Davis and Cesar Sala, two 23 year top ranked handball players. In 1997, at the age of 19 Cesar won the World Junior One-Wall Championship. In October 2000, he went on to win the World Championship One-Wall Open. In 2000 Cesar also won the Mayor's Cup, was a finalist in the USHA National Singles and together with his partner Joe Kaplan won the One Wall National Doubles. In 2000 Tracy won the Women's Mayor's Cup Singles Title. In 1999 Tracy was a finalist in the Nationals Singles and with her partner Brenda Pares, winner of the St Albans Big Blue B Doubles tournament. Tracy received an award from the St Albans Handball Association for the most improved player of 1999. Tracy is just a couple of credits away from completing her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn. She plans on obtaining a Bachelors Degree with the goal of pursuing a career in the communications field. Cesar, also a resident of Brooklyn, is attending Kingsborough Community College and is focusing his studies in the fields of Marketing and Advertising.
