When this page was originally published in 2001, we provided information about specific individuals and organizations to send donations to. All major organizations/charities dedicated to 9/11 survivor/victim relief have now ceased operation, so we've removed that information from this page. The FDNY Foundation exists to "support the FDNY in its mission to save lives in New York City"; we offer this to you as a suggestion to commemorate Steve.

We encourage people to share stories and memories they may have. Please add your thoughts to the Streetplay Facebook page to share them with that community. The website of Steve's stickball league, the New York Emperors, currently has a Facebook group which we encourage you to visit, too.
