Kaplan takes PHA Singles

Joe Kaplan edged Albert Apuzzi in a three-game final to capture the championship of the PHA Coney Island Little Ball Singles on June 3. The veteran Apuzzi survived tiebreakers against Tony Roberts and Cesar Sala to reach the final, while Kapaln advanced with wins over Conrad and Rojas. All games were played to 15 points.

This event was organized by the Pro Handball Association (PHA) a newly formed organziation.
