Special Open Softball Scrimmage Are you interested in playing softball this year, but don't have a team? If so, come on down on Friday April 14th to the Yorkville Softball League's Open Scrimmage and find one. This popular event is held each year to help individuals get placed on teams. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to attend, as are team captains looking for players. If you are interested in playing this season, but can't make the scrimmage, call the Yorkville Sports Association at (212) 645-6488 and they will assist finding you a team. About the scrimmage Date: Friday April 14, 2000 - Rain or shine Time: 5:30 - 8:30 PM Place: Dewitt Clinton Park (52nd Street and 11th Ave). Special Notes The Individual League fee of $125 must be paid by players joining at this time. The fee is for the full season and provides for team shirts, team equipment bags, score book and game balls. Please note that since the player fee helps pay for equipment, it is adjusted down when the team roster grows. If a team is fully represented (up to 23 players) the players fee is significantly less.
